Masters of their Domains continues
An interview with John Saddington, owner of Datecraft.com, ran in today's paper, along with a little video I shot.
Also, a new Space Monkeys! comic was posted yesterday.

TWoP catchup
Dudes. Crazy week. Nothing new, but still. Here's stuff I've been forgetting to post this week:
Did you hear about Britney on TV this week? I weecapped it. She appeared on How I Met Your Mother:
Guest Star 4 U -- Britney Spears guest stars as a lovestruck receptionist, but it's Sarah Chalke from Scrubs who makes Ted go all out for a cutesy two-minute date.
And there was last week's Smallville:
Tazed and Confused -- Clark is captured by thugs wielding Krypto-Tasers and stuck in a Kryptonite-lined cell. Before you can say, "Don't Tase me, bro!" he's caught in a power struggle between Papa Luthor and Dr. Swann's daughter. It's Chloe, Lana and Kara (Teen! Girl! Squad!) to the rescue!
More stuff soon, I promise. Lots of updates this weekend.

Self-publishers
I had a story that ran in the Sunday paper on the front of Life & Arts about authors who self-publish and some of the difficulties and unexpected expenses that pop up.
I've already gotten quite a few e-mails about the story ranging from, "Why wasn't I in your story?" to "you know, I self-published and didn't pay a dime, so your story is wrong." It made me glad, frankly, that I don't write about books more regularly because people get really persnickety when you start saying things about the world of publishing and books. I guess some of those people are the same kinds of readers who read newspapers looking for errors.
