Fine cuisine and chips: Chicken Marsala with Cheetos
This dish is a Chicken Marsala prepared with fresh sage, finely cut chicken breasts, shallots and a Marsala wine over a bed of angel hair pasta. Heavy cream and mushrooms sauteed in extra virgin olive oil are part of the delicious sauce that goes over the very lightly breaded chicken. The dish is served with an Australian wine.
The Cheetos, served in a small dish, can serve either as appetizer or side. Thei crunchy cheese snack serves as a counterpoint to the overwhelming creaminess of the Marsala. The Cheetos bag was opened minutes before the meal was served, ensuring freshness.

I would like to be more than a pimp to you
You deserve better, baby, you do.
Unfortunately, I've been swamped with all kinds of crazy assignments and new projects lately (the only reason my head's above water: a bunch of old projects have stalled or are on hiatus). I hate to bust in here after a week of silence with nothing but a bunch of self-promoting links that you should definitely check out.
Unfortunately, this is the reality in which I live, one that includes a daughter who has learned how to squeal with delight (it's very cute) and who gets angry if we try to put her in her crib (decidedly less cute).
I'm taking a few days off from work this week and plan to use it to compress a month's worth of Christmas shopping and Christmas card writing into two days. Wish me luck.
Anyway, here are the pimpy items, fresh from the pimp garden where I grow pimp oregano and juicy pimp tomatoes. I think I'm going to try to grow some pimp rosemary soon:
- My second "Masters of their Domains" feature ran in the paper on Sunday and it features the owner of WeddingSculptures.com. I shot a video for the story as well. She's a very talented lady.
- A dual game review of Time Crisis 4 for the PlayStation 3 and the Wii Zapper for the Nintendo Wii ran in today's paper.
- Lots of new entries on Videogamey.com, a site that finally feels like it's what it was supposed to be all along. We're updating twice a day Monday through Friday, so check back often or add it to your RSS feeds. Throw us some comments or go post in the forum.
- My last recap of Smallville for the year is up on Television Without Pity. I'm not even sure when the show comes back from hiatus. It may be as late as February. As far as I know, there are only about six more episodes for the whole season. No idea if they can wrap things up in that time. My guess is there'll definitely be a Season Eight:
Elevator Inaction -- Chloe and Jimmy make nice when a bomb traps them in an elevator. Meanwhile, an early clone version of Lex's clone brother is so mad at the world that he wants idiot Lois to become the world-renowned journalist who tells his story. To make matters worse: Bizarro Clark is back.
