Black Friday Thursday
A new Space Monkeys! comic is up, and it's a perfect example of fudging the timespace of a comic to fit our own sometimes-late production schedule. We don't do Black Friday comics. We do Black Friday Aftermath comics. That is why we are one step ahead of ourselves. Also, behind.

Uncle Pepe blogs
Forgot to mention that the Latino Comedy Project's elder pervert Uncle Pepe wrote a Thanksgiving blog entry last week.
You can see some other stuff I may have written over there. My day to post stuff is on Mondays.

More things to read on the Webernets
I had a review of Sony's weird card/videogame hybrid, Eye of Judgment in today's paper.
Also on the TWoPs is my weecap of last night's How I Met Your Mother:
Newyorkdevirginization -- Barney learns that he didn't exactly rock anyone's world when he lost his virginity at 23 while the rest of the gang huffs and puffs at the gym. Let's get physical! Bonus: Heidi Klum!
With the break from Smallville, I've been hanging out with Lilly and doing lots of cooking/baking> I made some Nutter Butter giant cookies and awesome Luby's candied yams for Thanksgiving and last night I made two giant pumpkin pies. Gonna experiment with some more dishes from the totally-worth-it Luby's cookbook. I may make my own Luanne Platter.

Some worky work stuff
Much like the time I thought the weeks after my baby's birth would be one awesome babycation, the days off I took last week around the Thanksgiving holiday proved not-so-restful.
I opted to stay home with Lilly on Wednesday and Friday using "vacation" days, but by the time Rebecca got home on Friday night, I went straight to bed around 10 p.m. and slept 11 hours straight. It was exhausting, I didn't get much done (luckily, there wasn't too much to do; no recaps of Smallville for a little while).
Still, taking care of a baby by yourself is no joke. Well, it's a tiny bit of a joke, but it's a joke that involves poop, and not everybody likes that kind of humor.
Anyway, stuff I wrote before this little break appeared in the paper this. A review I wrote of Ratchet & Clank for the PlayStation 3 is in today's paper. And I got to be a part of this year's Season for Caring package, which is always a wonderful thing to do. Mine is the story of LaTisha Toran and her family. Please check it out and help if you can.
