I don't pretend to understand the NCAA Tourney (is it a "Tourney," even?) like Meany does in today's new Space Monkeys! comic. I just know that Duke and Villanova and some school in Georgetown are always in there and that you're supposed to bleed Blue Devil pride or something. You know what? I don't even fucking care. That's why we have sports blogs.

Clark mopes even more than usual. Lana promises to leave Lex and run away with Clark, and Lex kills a dude in the church! But in the end, it's the world-shaking manly fist of Papa Luthor that forces Lana to enter into unholy matrimony and slaps Lex in the face. Now imagine all of this, but take away the stuff that would make all that stuff awesome, and turn everyone stupid. That's this episode.

Yesterday, we pulled weeds. We had an ice storm this year and heavy rains last week, so it was like South by Southwest for weeds in our back yard. Check this one out:
Crazy, right? So I put on my macho gardening gloves and ripped the fucker out of the ground by its roots. YEEEAAAGHHHH!!
And here, at last, is the blood-dirt stain on the side of my house where I beat the roots senseless, shaking loose all the dirt that weed was still hanging on to. It's a badge of honor, a mark of my victory (very temporary) over the invading alien.
