Disturbing lack of empathy
The news that Sinbad is actually alive did not elicit even a microscopic blip on my emotional radar.
And I don't even hate the guy.

300! The comic!
A new Space Monkeys! comic is up this morning, this one about the movie 300 (as opposed to the bowling score).

I suck. I caved.
And joined Twitter. Can a Twitter widget on the left rail on this site be far behind? Sadly, no.

Not condoning terrorism, but...
Not that I'm looking, but it occurred to me today that if a nuclear weapon did go off in Valencia, California, like it did on 24, we could probably afford to buy a house there.

Oy
I'm on camera for SXSW Interactive (don't be alarmed; there's a rape PSA before I come on). The big surprise was that my co-worker Lilly Rockwell, who didn't want to be on camera, was totally poised and camera-ready even though we had no script. Good job, Lilly!

Where I am: SXSW
I'm not all Twitter.com and crap, telling you where I am every goddamned minute (...taking a crap!... no, scratch taking a crap... wiping!), but I can tell you where I am tomorrow: South by Southwest Interactive, baby! It feels good to be back among the geekerati.
I'm blogging stuff from the festival (hey, check out my take on Dan Rather's keynote) and also going to exactly one party (my poor, sleep-deprived body can't take much more that that).
I was dying to see the screening of Knocked Up tonight, but I have no film badge and I was too exhausted to try to brave the pay-to-get-in-maybe line. Oh well. I'll see it in the summer.
