New video up!
This is one of my favorite videos that we've done for LCP. I like that it's just straight-up silly. Great writing from Adrian.

Threadthrills
New comic today, full of doom and gloom.
My mom's been in and out of the hospital the last two weeks and it's been pretty nerve wracking for all of us (not the least of which is for her). She's due for some gall stone work soon, but for almost a week there were just tests and lots of back and forth on what would happen next.
We've been trying to keep things normal, I guess, going to work and continuing to make plans, but it's been hard to feel funny or entertaining or to have any energy about much of anything while that's all going on. I have a hard time understanding how people can live with something like that in their life in the long term.
And I spent a chunk of Friday in the hospital and it just reminded me how little I like being in a place like that. It all feels uncertain and temporary, people in rooms that are sick motels with things that can move in and out and detach from the wires in the walls. Even the cafeteria with its $2 meals felt alien (it's a military hospital).
I should count my blessings that so much of my life is so normal and uneventful on the health crisis front. Things have been so good for so long that it's been easy to take it for granted.

Jackass vs. Monkey
A new Space Monkeys! comic is up today. I write below the comic about my experience seeing Jackass Number Two last night, which I thoroughly enjoyed and screw you if you think less of me for it.
We went to a going-away party for an LCP cast member who is moving to Los Angeles this week. We've had a long run with her and we'll miss her (although we're planning on continuing working with her as her schedule allows). But the party was so much fun, bringing new and old cast members together, with embarrssing stories and huge laughs, it lightened the weight of seeing her go.
