Notify notification
The not-oft-updated notify list still exists, and I just sent out a long, goofy and potentially future-embarrassing (for me) notify e-mail.
I've been clearing out bounced-back e-mail addresses from my notify list, so if you fell off and didn't get anything, it may be because I have an old address for you. e-mail me if you fell off and want back in or if you want to be added anew, like the cutest baby chick in the chicken farm.

Loose Star Wars end
I keep forgetting to link to this. My all-time favorite Robot Chicken sketch. Although Sunday's "Monkeys in Outer Space" segment was so awesome I want to marry it. Unfortunately, my wife's not into polygamy, even though we spent most of the weekend catching up on Big Love.

Spamart
Sometimes you get a spam message that stops you right in your tracks. Because it is beautiful:
Subject: get your digree now
get your d/iplom-a without any classes
(Weird URL here)
Those news announcers aren't practicing shaving next to the police station right at this time.
What news announcers? What police station? My "digree?"
You've got me intrigued and delighted, Mr. Spammonger. You win this round.

I can explain
If you don't read Videogamey, you might have missed this teen photo of me that Glark posted over the weekend. He was nice enough to let me know it was up after it was posted and the rest of our IM conversation was a blur, but I think I remember reading, "Ha ha!"
The funniest thing is not the photo itself (although mullet-rockin', braces-wearing teen Omar is pretty funny), but how Glark got it. At our wedding (mine and Rebecca's, not mine and Glark's; it's easy to get confused), my wife put up a poster board with lots of hilariously embarrassing photos of us during our formative years. (Beware future kids of ours: your adolescence will be defined by the word "Awkward.") Glark and Wing Chun apparently snapped some photos of the photos and some two years later, Glark (with help from Wing) finally pulled the ace from his sleeve in a devastating throw-down of Internet sneakiness.
All I could say was, "Well played, Glark. Well played."
Wing assures me there are even worse pictures of Glark somewhere. Rest assured I am plotting to find them.
