"Did it come with a rainbow sticker or was that extra?"
Li'l Floaty Omie Head writes about buying a gas-tea-sipping Prius after many car woes and much kvetching. It was truly an adventure, one that I would have rather not gone through in the middle of buying a house, going nuts at work and being a newlywed, but hey, I don't force my life into chaos on purpose. (At least not consciously, I don't.)
The thing I couldn't really write about on the XL Blog was that I absolutely love how mean people are on the Internet. I mean, I'm really going to miss it when the government clamps down on hate speech online and you won't be able to see people go absolutely nuts on someone just because they posted a photo of a Prius. It's like open season on gay jokes just because you own that car. I really, really love that people can be that fucking cruel online. It rocks, even if it's directed at me.
I must admit, though, when I was in the dealership, it did occur to me that the car I was about to buy had the same root as "Priapic" and the thought did cross my mind of how gay it would make me to buy a car that essentially means, "Penis on wheels."
In other news, PJ is posting a bonus tomorrow on Space Monkeys! You'll just have to check it out on Friday to see what it is.
Also, the third DVD of Getbackers comes out on Dec. 14. If you have an anime person in your life, it would be very cool if you bought them some of these. It is a good series and it gets better the further it goes. And Volume 3 features the character I voice, Shido, on the cover of the DVD! Rock!
We close on our new house tomorrow morning. Seriously.
This has been a crazy fucking month. Wonderful, but crazy.

Slothclusion
The last comic in the "Cold Slaaa" series, (#5, bagged, if you're a collector) is posted, right on time and in full color over at Space Monkeys!
Now that we're over our continuity phase, we can go back to being stupid and random.
The week of no-sleep and mucho-action continues. I knew that a 6:45 a.m. existed, I just didn't know that the shit existed every day and that sometimes in life you may be called upon to see that unholy hour for several days in rapid succession. When I wake up at that hour and it's all dark and cold, I like to pretend that I'm the very first caveman emerging from the very first inhabited cave, walking outside (fully erect, standing-wise, at least) and beholding the wonder that is the sun as it rises and burns my retinas.
Then I have some coffee and turn into a normal person without the protruding browspace.

New recap, last before December hiatus
December is crazy. Good thing there's no more recaps this month. (At least I think there aren't.)
Some Nightmares Before Christmas -- A toxin is released at LuthorCorp causing those exposed to have their worst nightmare send them into a coma. Like, say, if Omar had to recap an entire episode about Lana and then -- zzzzzzzzzz. As it happens, Lana is significant in this one, but there's a damn good Chloe scene at the end that makes up for it, so, happy holidays, Smallville fans.

Up damn early
It's 7 a.m. on a Monday, and it pains me to even have to put that sequence of words together.
The good news is that there's a new Space Monkeys! comic up, maybe one of the best we've done. I gotta hand it to PJ on this one. I can't believe he got it done on time considering how much time each panel took. Please check it out.
See y'all later. It's gonna be a long, long day.
