  • Trailers Without Pity: Burlesque

As is made clear in the opening seconds of our new Trailers Without Pity, we sure do like boobies, so it wasn’t hard to muster up the … uh… mustard of enthusiasm for Burlesque, a Thanksgiving movie starring Christina Aguilera and Cher.

This is a movie I don’t think I’d go see, despite the flesh and Stanley Tucci on display, but hey, if it floats your boat, have a great turkey day big-screen turkey.

You can find our video here.

Next, we’re working on Tron: Legacy.

  • Trailers Without Pity: Inception

    Inception

We’ve been big Christopher Nolan fans since Memento and damned if we weren’t blown away by Dark Knight, so it’s not hard to get worked up over his new summer movie, Inception. It features Leonardo DiCaprio and more stars than I care to name and looks pretty fantastic.

Our Trailers Without Pity for Inception concludes that it will probably be amazing if it doesn’t get too far up its own dream colon.  I mean, it has to be. Have you seen the other movies that are out this summer? It’s like navigating a yard full of poop where a St. Bernard lives.

You can view it here on the TWOP site or below if the embedded video works for you.

The video just went up and we’re already working on the next one, for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

  • Trailers Without Pity: Dinner For Schmucks

    Dinner for Schmucks

This week on Trailers Without Pity, we take a break from talking about big-budget, superhero-laden summer movies to address the summer comedy Dinner For Schmucks, which stars Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd (and like a half-dozen other comedians you probably really like).

We spend a good deal of time examining what the word “Schmuck” actually means because when you have a clear avenue to penis jokes, you take it and push the accelerator to the floor.

As such, this video is a little more “Not Safe For Work” than usual. Make sure your boss isn’t peeking over your shoulder.

You can get to it directly at this link or view the video embedded below. If the video below doesn’t load, try the link instead. Enjoy! Next up we’ll be doing Christopher Nolan’s amazing-looking mindbender, Inception.
