  • Trailers Without Pity: Sex and the City 2

So, I think what happened is we saw the word “Sex” in the title of Sex and the City 2 and just kind of went buck-wild with it. And when I say “We,” I mean mostly “me.” I imagine Pablo is a little disgusted with me right now for what I helped make his poor computer churn out.

Anyhoo, here is our Trailers Without Pity for Sex and the City 2. The movie is in theaters today. I apologize in advance for the vagina trophy.

  • Trailers Without Pity: Dinner For Schmucks

    Dinner for Schmucks

This week on Trailers Without Pity, we take a break from talking about big-budget, superhero-laden summer movies to address the summer comedy Dinner For Schmucks, which stars Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd (and like a half-dozen other comedians you probably really like).

We spend a good deal of time examining what the word “Schmuck” actually means because when you have a clear avenue to penis jokes, you take it and push the accelerator to the floor.

As such, this video is a little more “Not Safe For Work” than usual. Make sure your boss isn’t peeking over your shoulder.

You can get to it directly at this link or view the video embedded below. If the video below doesn’t load, try the link instead. Enjoy! Next up we’ll be doing Christopher Nolan’s amazing-looking mindbender, Inception.

  • Trailers Without Pity: The A-Team

Pablo and I never watched The A-Team growing up (it’s explained in the video), but that didn’t stop us from examining the rich excess that is the trailer for this summer movie creation.

I know there’s a market for movies like this, just like there’s a market for off-brand Santa Fe mango chutney, but the only circumstance I could see myself seeing this movie is if someone paid me to go and then paid me again after the film was over, the money handed over in a burlap bag marked, “Dubiously Gotten $$$.”

Nevertheless, the trailer was fun to poke at, at least, for Trailers Without Pity and for us that’s all that counts.

  • Trailers Without Pity: Iron Man 2

(reposted from a Bloggystyle post from a few months ago)

This one was kind of a no-brainer — how could we not do Iron Man 2?

But within that easy free-throw range, I think we did some fun stuff and Pablo’s channeling of Terrence Howard whispering, “Oh, no, he flew away…” cracks me up every single time I hear it.Start with $250 — let your money work smarter State Investment Platform Reviews.

So, here ya go. New episode of Trailers Without Pity. Next up, we’re doing Kick-Ass and Sex and the City 2.
