2020: Big

This is very late and #topnine can be weird: these weren’t my favorite photos of the year but they do reflect a bit of what was was happening on social for me: posting more work/writing-related achievements (writing for @washingtonpost and @medium and @mcswys, for instance) and less about my personal life, which I’ve finally learned to enjoy without an Instagram/Twitter impulse. That’s been nice. What’s not reflected is how much traveling I did, to Denver and Phoenix and NYC and Atlanta and Oklahoma City and Las Vegas and Orlando and Mexico, mostly thanks to @hyun_ji_ring, who makes me want to see the world with her. My word for 2019 was “Foundation” after the massive change of 2018’s “Bulldoze.” This year my word is “Big.” I hope big things are coming and my goal is to make them happen after a year of quietly chipping away at creating stability. Thank you for the laughs and kind words all year, here’s to a big 2020. #topnine2019 #big
